Samagra Siksha Abhijan, Nadia contributes Rs 70,000 to the chief-minister state emergency relief fund
Mr Vibhu Goel, district magistrate, lauded the effort of the SSA management staff and said everyone should come forward to help the government in its fight against the pandemic.

KRISHNAGAR,
8 JUNE: During the prevailing pandemic conditions due to Covid-19 and the
extended damages caused by the extremely severe super cyclone, Amphan, Management
staffs of Samagra Siksha Abhijan, Nadia, today, have donated Rs 70,000 to chief
minister’s state emergency relief fund for providing help to the poor and
affected people.
In a gesture to express solidarity with the state administration
towards supporting the relief and rehabilitation activities being undertaken by
the Govt of West Bengal for the Amphan affected citizens and also for the Covid
prevention measures, the management employees handed over a cheque
of Rs 70,000 to the district magistrate Vibhu Goel.
Before handing over the cheque, Mr Biswajit Dhang, district
education officer, said, “A total of 124 management staff of Samagra Siksha
Abhijan, Nadia have contributed their own savings from their little
remuneration or salary to help the state government during the prevailing
critical time. The contribution, whatever it may be in amount, is important
because it is a collective effort to help the government during this crisis
period”.
Mr Goel lauded the effort of the SSA management staff and
said everyone should come forward to help the government in its fight against
the pandemic.
